A Little About Me (and Blue Cheese dressing)

Recently read an interview and figured I would answer the same questions as a way to reflect…

What inspires you? Those that overcome adversity with a positive attitude.

What is your greatest fear? Disappointing others and not giving my best effort.

Favorite song? Walk by the Foo Fighters or Take The Power Back by Rage Against the Machine

Who is your hero? My Grandpa Don; best friend, role model, teacher, and partner in crime when sneaking Grandma’s fresh baked goodies. We lost him when I was 15.

Proudest moment of your life? Running a 3:16 marathon and qualifying for the Boston Marathon less than 6 months after major spine surgery when most said I would never run again.

Favorite movie? Soul Surfer

If you were to start a business what would it be? Coaching kids and helping them with their self image and adopting an active and healthy lifestyle. Being a role model.

Biggest mistake you’ve made? Not moving to Arizona sooner

Favorite book? God on the Starting Line… a book about Faith, Running, and Believing

Describe yourself in 5 words? Determined, Focused, Optimistic, Friendly, Passionate

Running is…? where I find myself.

What annoys you about running/runners? People that take running for granted.

How many pairs of wearable running shoes do you have to choose from each day? 23 pairs… and that doesn’t count the retired ones that I just wear around 😉

—- On a different note, dinner was especially yummy tonight. Salad and a couple glasses of Pinot Grigio

Salad: organic arugula, shredded carrots, diced sweet bell pepper, crumbled goat cheese, wasabi peas, craisins, grape tomatoes, with blue cheese dressing.
